Simone holds a M. Sc. in Psychology and is a registered member of the PSI. Her professional background in mental health settings also include adolescents. Simone’s therapeutic approach is integrative and holistic, drawing from concepts of Body Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy depending on the presented needs. Moreover, Simone is trained in Advanced Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), Mediation and Non-Violent Communication (NVC). Simone has lived in Ireland for a decade and is an experienced clinical psychologist who sees personal development as a journey, in which every human being thinks about and perceives the world according to their existing beliefs. These beliefs determine the individual behavioural patterns and can bring about a feeling of disconnection. Through the exploration in a warm hearted, empathic, safe and non-judgemental environment a new sense of self and hence beneficial choices of behaving and connecting to the world will arise naturally. Simone is available for short, long term and online therapy sessions. She welcomes adolescents and adults for therapy in English and German. Her areas of clinical experience include: Anxiety, Depression / Low Mood, Obsessive-Compulsive Behaviour, Disability, Stress/ PTSD, Perfectionism, Loss/ Complicated Grief, Eating Disorder, Issues with Self-Esteem, Assertiveness and Relationship Issues.
